Original post: I have missed living in the fantasy worlds that I find in my books. Instead of sitting down and turning pages, I have been decompressing by going out and it is only a temporary stress relief. This year I am challenging myself to read a book every month, and so far, I am off to a good start (I began my February book 3 days before the end of January). I will update the list as I go, making sure only to mark down a book once I've started it. I can already breathe easier thinking about it...
January- The Life and Times of Charles Manson by Jeff Guinn
February- Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore
March- This is How by Augusten Burroughs
April- Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins
May- Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut
June- Attempt #1 Trainspotting [fail]
July- My Booky Wook by Russell Brand
And then school started...
...and I put down the fun books for the text books. I started reading Russell Brand's biography and never finished, considering my first semester of college started and I was way in over my head. But the good news is, I picked right back up in June.
June [2017]- The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
July- My Booky Wook by Russell Brand [re-do]
...second attempt was also a fail, sorry Russell!
August/September- The Angel's Game by Zafon [prequel to SOTW]
to be continued...
